With the scarcity of primary raw materials, the need for a circular economy is critical. Dr. Mahmoud Masri will present GST’s proprietary FHCR™ platform, which transforms biogenic and industrial side-streams into valuable yeast oils, active ingredients, and biopolymers. This eco-friendly process reduces land use, lowers CO2 emissions, and reintegrates organic by-products into the industrial cycle.

Hans Eisenmann-Forum (HEF) for Agricultural Sciences Symposium
At the symposium, two start-up pitch events took place, with Global Sustainable Transformation (GST) emerging as one of the winners. GST develops biotechnological processes for the production of sustainable oil-based raw materials for the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries. These innovative solutions impressed the jury and secured GST the victory. Further pitches were also presented.
