The project is funded by the <strong>Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU)<\/strong> and brings together leading partners from science and industry to develop innovative bio-based solutions for a sustainable circular economy.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Value creation from side streams of mushroom production<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal of <strong>MYCOCIRCLE<\/strong> is to transform by-products from edible mushroom production into high-quality and eco-friendly raw materials. This aims to create sustainable alternatives to chemical and animal-based raw materials that can be used in various industrial applications.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously underutilized residual materials thus gain new economic significance and are further developed into valuable bio-based resources. This approach contributes to using natural resources more efficiently, reducing waste, and accelerating the transition to a circular bioeconomy.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biotechnology for a sustainable future<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the framework of the project, GST contributes its expertise in the fields of <strong>industrial biotechnology<\/strong>, <strong>fermentation<\/strong>, and <strong>sustainable process development<\/strong>.
